Manager: Finance and Operations

Are you very organised, self-reliant, ethical, able to multi-task and solve problems? Do you have superior management skills and excellent judgement? YeBo Institute, a NPO focused on youth development, is looking for a finance and operations manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial and operational functions of the YeBo Institute, including financial management, procurement, HR administration and operational coherence. The incumbent will form part of the YeBo Institute management team. From 2026 the role will require a full-time commitment. In the interim we are open to a part or full time role.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or finance

  • At least 5 years’ experience managing finances

  • Highly organised, self-reliant, good problem-solving, results-oriented, multi-tasker with superior management skills and excellent judgment

  • Excellent computer, project management and communication skills

  • Driver’s licence

Recommended:

  • Experience in a donor-funded environment

  • Experience with Xero

  • Experience in HR Administration
